Client Work
Project, Refund, and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
This policy explains common project expectations for Speedy Geek Services. Specific project terms may be adjusted in a written proposal, invoice, or project agreement.
Deposits and Milestones
Projects may require a deposit before work begins. Larger projects may be billed in milestones. Deposits and milestone payments reserve project time and cover planning, setup, design, development, research, and other work performed.
Refunds
Payments for completed work, delivered assets, consulting time, audits, research, setup, strategy, and approved milestones are generally non-refundable. If a project is canceled before completion, any refund or remaining balance is determined by the work completed, time reserved, third-party costs, and the applicable project agreement.
Cancellations
Either party may request to cancel a project in writing. The client remains responsible for approved work, completed work, reserved time, and non-refundable third-party costs incurred before cancellation.
Revisions and Scope Changes
Revisions included in a project are defined in the proposal or agreement. Requests outside the approved scope may require a change order, revised timeline, or additional fee.
Client Delays
Projects depend on timely feedback, approvals, access, content, and materials. If a project is delayed by missing client input, the timeline may be adjusted and restart dates may depend on availability.
Final Delivery and Handoff
Final files, credentials, or launch support are provided according to the project scope after required payments are received. Ongoing maintenance, hosting, updates, SEO, automation support, and troubleshooting may require a separate agreement.
